Upcoming new feature to sync with Outlook
Hi there,
Just a quick update to let you know that we’re working on a new feature that allows you to sync your tasks between GoalsOnTrack and Outlook. As we’ve learned, many users still keep using Outlook as their main task management tool. Now this new feature will make it easy for you to import and export tasks from Outlook, or from GoalsOnTrack to Outlook.
We’re planning to add more support for this kind of data integration with other popular software. Please let me know which tasks/todo list management tools you would like to see GoalsOnTrackĀ integrate with.
Thanks,
Harry

Hi,
Did you mean “sync” tasks, or just “import/export”.
I noticed we can already import trough a .csv file, but we have to do this every time a task is modified or created !
Thank you
Olivier,
For now, it’s just “import and export”. We are still working on the “export” part. For a true ’syncing’ feature, it would mean to create a outlook plug-in to do it. But again you will need to specify which goals you want those tasks from outlook to sync with GoalsOnTrack. So it’s not going to be a one click step, and a plug-in doesn’t seem to work any better than a normal import/export.
For importing tasks, you don’t have to do it every time a task is created or modified. You can do it daily, or even weekly so that your goals progress can be updated with all the tasks you completed in outlook.
I am waiting for feedback on this feature and let me know if you have any more comments.
